Compassionate Mental Health Counseling Tailored to your needs
Empowering you to overcome life's challenges with support
Empowering you to overcome life's challenges with support
"You are bigger than anything that you could bring into this space. What you are going through or dealing with does not define who you are. Although it may be an important piece to the puzzle."
Allowing yourself to be vulnerable is a scary and challenging commitment. But it’s something we must do in order to free ourselves from ourselves.
My approach to care is Trauma Informed, thought provoking and built on the belief that healing is possible. Within our work together you can expect opportunities to examine your life experiences while building evidenced based practical skills to assist in combating negative thinking, symptoms and unwanted behavioral patterns.
You can expect partnership as we navigate this process.
I can assure you that your needs are the priority and it is important that we create the safe space that will allow you to set the stage & direction for your life with support, compassion, and positivity.
Let's work to take control of who you want to be, not only in your relationships, but most importantly the relationship you have within yourself.
I've had the pleasure and opportunity of meeting individuals within their sadness, pain, grief & loss for over 15 years. Providing support and building resilience as they navigate some of their most challenging moments, from all ages and walks of life.
I specialize in helping individuals process and heal from unresolved trauma, whether from childhood or adulthood, that's impacting the ability to live the life they deserve. Together we work to create a sense of safety as we examine the life experiences that have you feeling hurt, confused, depressed, stuck; as we rewrite the narrative for your life.
I started my professional career working in child protective services supporting individuals in overcoming not only systematic and organizational challenges but personal challenges that include:
substance misuse, domestic violence, co-parenting challenges, anger management, marital and probate challenges, and all aspects of parenting and child safety and well-being.
My professional experience has also lead me to work in Community Mental Health Outpatient Clinics and Community Crisis Clinics. Most recently, I have the honor of working with Geriatric veterans and their family members around challenges that include loss of independence, social isolation, caregiver stress, burden, Grief & Loss, chronic depression & anxiety, suicidal ideations, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
